Entering your bank notes for EuroBillTracker is very easy using the EBT-App for Android.

Entering a bank notes can be done with a few clicks:

1. Select country, city and zip code from a large geographical database or just use your current location.
2. Enter print code and serial number with instant validation or use the camera for text recognition.
3. Enter comment or select previously used comment
4. Press enter

We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection declaration. This data protection declaration applies to our Android app (hereinafter referred to as the "app"). It explains the type, purpose and scope of data collection when using the app.

If you install and use this app, the following personal data is collected and processed:

Usage data
When using the app, certain events are recorded for analysis purposes. These events include starting the app for the first time after installation, using the app in the foreground, capturing banknotes and uninstalling the app. This data is processed by Google Analytics. The data will be kept for two months.

EBT account
When using the app you have to enter the credentials for an existing account at www.EuroBillTracker.com. These credentials are stored in the app to allow easy operation. All recorded banknotes are transferred to the EBT account and stored there.

Location
If you allow the app to access the current location, it will be used to determine the city and the postcode at your current location. These location data will only be used to process your request and transmitted to geonames.org for processing. Your location data is transmitted via an encrypted connection.

Camera
If you allow the app to access the camera, the live camera image is used to determine the serial number and the printer code of the banknote. The image will not be saved and will not be shared with third parties.

Nutzungsdaten

Im Rahmen der App-Nutzung werden bestimmte Ereignisse zu Analysezwecken aufgezeichnet. Diese Ereignisse umfassen den erstmaligen Start der App nach der Installation, die Nutzung der App im Vordergrund, das Erfassen von Banknoten sowie die Deinstallation der App. Die Verarbeitung dieser Daten erfolgt durch Google Analytics. Die Daten werden zwei Monate aufbewahrt.

EBT-Konto

Zur Nutzung der App müssen Sie die Zugangsdaten zu einem bei www.EuroBillTracker.com bestehenden Konto eingeben. Diese Zugangsdaten werden in der App gespeichert, um eine einfache Bedienung zu ermöglichen. Alle erfassten Banknoten werden an das EBT-Konto übertragen und dort gespeichert.

Standort

Wenn Sie der App den Zugriff auf den aktuellen Standort erlauben, wird dieser dazu verwendet, den aktuellen Ort und die aktuelle Postleitzahl zu ermitteln. Die Standortdaten werden nur für die Bearbeitung Ihrer Anfrage genutzt und zur Verarbeitung an geonames.org übermittelt. Die Übertragung Ihrer Standortdaten erfolgt über eine verschlüsselte Verbindung.

Kamera

Wenn Sie der App den Zugriff auf die Kamera erlauben, wird das Live-Kamerabild verwendet, um daraus die Seriennummer und den Druckereicode der Banknote zu ermitteln. Das Bild wird dafür nicht gespeichert und nicht an Dritte übermittelt.
